Jasper le Clercq
(1970) violin, worked with the Ro Theater, La Pat, Patricio Wang, Winanda del Sur, Marc van Vught, Bart van Dongen,. As an improvising violinist attached to the Zapp-string quartet. With several different groups he toured through Europe, English Antilles, Chile and Russia. Plays and composes for the theatre Growing up in Public.

Jeffrey Bruinsma
(1977) violin, studied at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and the Conservatory of Amsterdam. Besides classical violin he also studied jazz. His teachers included Qui of Woerdekom (classical), Peter Nieuwerf, Jan Menu, John Ruocco and Jasper Blom. Works often together with string quartet Zapp! Winner of the Deloitte Jazz Award 2006.

Vera van der Bie
(1981) violin, studied with Johannes Leertouwer. This study was followed by an academic year in Freiburg with Rainer Kussmaul. At the moment she continues her education at the Royal Conservatory with Peter Brunt. Leader of the violins in the Ricciotti Ensemble and the NJSO. Vera is part of Quinetique Quintet.

Heleen van der Hoeven
(1982) violin, during her Bachelor she studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam with Lex de Gidts Korff, and at the Codarts Conservatory with Thijs Kramer, there she earned her degree cum laude.
During her studies she played in several orchestras, including the Dutch Youth StrijkOrkest, the National JeugdOrkest Ricciotti and the ensemble.

Benjamin von Gutzeit
(1980, Bochum, Germany) Viola. As a 12-year-old pupil of Emile Cantor, he won the first prize in the German youth competition "Bundeswettbewerb Jugend Musiziert". Two years later he won again. At 17 classic study viola at the conservatory in Linz (Austria) Thereafter Jazz at the Bruckner-Conservatory of Andi Schreiber. Three years later to Amsterdam to study with the saxophonists Ferdinand Povel and Jasper Blom. Benni plays in several formations like 'Strings get Wings' (Paul van Kemenade), Laetitia van Krieken's 'Big Bang' and the Celano-Baggiani Group.

Maurice Horsthuis
(1948) viola, Maurice Horsthuis studied with Erwin Schiffer in Tilburg and Sonology in Utrecht. Became improvising musician, theater composer for Toneelgroep Baal, Globe, The National Theatre, the Footsbarn Travelling Theatre and many other theatre ensembles. He played in the Guus Janssen septet, The Company, the Instant Composers Pool, BiteTheGnatze and the Amsterdam String Trio. From 1990 to 1995 his own 30-piece orchestra: Amsterdam Drama.

Composed orchestral works commissioned by The Brabants Orchestra, De Volharding, the cellist Yo Yo Ma, the Metropole Orchestra, the Noordhollands Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ricciotti Ensemble, the Dutch Youth String Orchestra, and Sinfonietta Amsterdam. Chambermusic for the Hadewych String Trio, the Mondriaan String Quartet, the Osiris Trio, the duo Gerard Bouwhuis and Heleen Hulst, the Zapp quartet, and the harptrio TriDaLi. Annie Tangberg
(1972) cello, study at the Conservatory in Oslo and the Royal Conservatory in DenHaag. 2nd phase achieved in 2000. Teachers: Jean Decroos and Monique Bartels. Cellists in the Metropole Orchestra freelance work. Projects with Ernst Reijseger, Dick van deGraaf, Marc van Vugt,. Tangogroep el Conjunto, Emmy Verhey Camerata.

Saartje van Camp
(1974) cello, from 1999 to 2001 she studied with Ms.. France Springuel at the Conservatory of Antwerp where got her master degree. In 2001 she won the "Rodenstein and Partners Music". From 1999 to 2002, she was captain of the cellogroep Ricciotti of the ensemble. She is the cellist of the Spinvis- band.

Nina Hitz
(1973) cello, grown up in Switzerland and studied cello in Zürich. In 1999 she moved to Rotterdam and in 2004 she completed her Baroque Cello study at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Currently she plays in the modern ensemble 'The Barton Workshop' (Netherlands), the performance ensemble 'Daswirdas' (Switzerland) and she has her own band' Liana Flu Winks' experimental flubberrock.

Brice Soniano
1979) bass, Conservatoire de Narbonne and Beziers, in 2005 graduate of the conservatory, Den Haag (including an own work for Jargon) plays in different formations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Denmark. From 2006 to 2007 with bass travelling in subsahara Africa.

Wiek Hijmans
(1967) electric guitar, Manhattan School of Music in New York. Received in New York the Andres Segovia Award ( "for outstanding guitarplaying") 1997. Active in the field of contemporary composed but also ge, mproviseerde music. Member of the MAE, and co-artistic director of the American / Dutch ensemble TONK. Worked freelance Sinfoni'tta with New Amsterdam, De Volharding Orchestra, The Brooklyn Phylharmonic Orchestra, The Ebony Band, Kenvermogen, Hans Hasebos and the Mondriaan Quartet. Festivals: Holland Festival, North Sea Jazz, New Music Accross America, Lincoln Center Out of Doors, Festival d'Otono and others and concerts in many countries (Russia, U.S., Canada, Germany, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Austria and Switzerland).
